About Dr. Jeff Wang
Dr. Jeff Wang is a corporate trainer, teaching coach and gamification researcher from Taiwan — known in his home country as "the teacher of teachers and the coach of coaches."
For over 20 years he has taught engineers, executives, doctors, nurses and teachers how to present and how to teach. His clients in Taiwan include TSMC, Foxconn, MediaTek, Siemens, Novartis, Deloitte, Google, Nike, Gucci and IKEA — more than 70% of Taiwan's 100 largest listed companies. He has taught more than 10,000 educators, and received TSMC's Excellent Instructor Award.
He holds a Ph.D. in Information Management. His gamification research won the Entertainment Computing Best Paper of 2022 award, and both of his Delphi studies — on corporate training (2022) and medical education (2024) — rank among the top 1% most-cited papers in their field and year — the medical-education study in the top 0.1% (OpenAlex). He has written 10 books in Chinese on presentation, teaching, gamification and personal growth. Gamification in Training and Teaching: True Engagement, No Games is his 11th book and his first in English. He is the founder of F Academy, an online learning company in Taiwan.
Outside the classroom he plays jazz saxophone, makes espresso, is a PADI Divemaster and a father of two daughters — and believes that a rich life makes for richer teaching.
